About Janet Martineau
Janet’s interest in flora and fauna go back to her childhood. She spent her summers gardening with her father, hiking with Girl Scouts and collecting turtles, frogs and toads whenever possible. At the age of 16, Janet discovered her love of flower arranging, and has been pursuing it ever since. Along the way, Janet received formal training in creating space, balance, proportion and detail with a degree in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati. She also spent several years working in the floral wholesale and retail industry before starting Floral Verde in 2006. Janet’s knowledge and excitement, not only for flowers, but their botanical counterparts – foliage, branches, herbs and succulents, gives her work a fresh and distinctive look.

Floral Verde LLC is a floral design studio based in Cincinnati, Ohio. To allow for exceptional service, Floral Verde accepts a limited number of events each year. Our goal is to delight our clients with unexpected harmonies of flowers and foliage. We view each bouquet, boutonniere, corsage and centerpiece as an opportunity to create a work of art, but it’s the personal attention and experience that sets us apart.
